Carol was now in the middle of her chemotherapy sessions & it was beginning to take its toll. However, she had booked this cruise holiday with Jen a long time before she was diagnosed in July this year & was determined to go ahead with the trip. She had slightly re-arranged her chemo sessions to gain sufficient time to cruise the Caribbean! So I sent her off on her travel with a little bit of trepidation knowing the first few days would be incredibly hard for her (her last session was only two days previous). Somehow she arrived in Birmingham & met up with Jen & after a good nights sleep flew on wards to the magical Caribbean. Carol was tired, but she had made it!
