Kenya Days Out: The Orphanage.

Another day out in Kenya! Nicci had been reading about the Footprints Orphange  in southern Kenya, very close to where we were staying at Diani Beach. She had brought out a variety of things for the children and she wanted to deliver them in person. So half of the James gang went along & they had a fantastic day out!

Much of coastal Kenya is very rural.

Unfortunately, not everyone can afford 

to go to school!

I think one of the most striking things they all felt was how little can go a very long way. The staff & children were very happy to see their visitors & receive a few sweets of course! It makes one think what would have happened to these children if this orphanage wasn’t there?
